Hot air cotton is also called tuyere cotton. Hot air cotton is different from spray cotton. Its fixing method is not to use latex, but to mix a certain amount of low-melting fiber or ES bicomponent fiber in the raw material. After heat drying in the production process, the fibers are fused together, so it also belongs to synthetic fiber filter cotton. Hot air cotton has fast production speed, large output, and low cost.

"ES" in ES hot air cotton is a kind of composite fiber, which is the abbreviation of "Ethylene-Propylene Side By Side" in English, which refers to the name of the raw material. ES fiber is highly regarded in the world as a new type of thermally bondable composite fiber. Among them, the "hot air" of hot air cotton refers to a process. After the fibers are combed, the hot air on the drying equipment is used to penetrate the fiber web, so that it is heated and bonded to form a non-woven fabric.

When the carded web is thermally bonded by calendering or through-air, the low-melting component forms melt bonds at the intersections of the fibers. After cooling, the fibers at the non-crossing points remain in their original state, which is a form of "point bonding" rather than "zone bonding", so the product has the following characteristics:

1. Pure white, fluffy, soft feel, good elasticity, strong warmth retention, good moisture absorption and breathability.

2. The use of natural flame retardant fibers, and no droplet phenomenon. Has a permanent self-extinguishing effect.

3. A dense carbonized layer is formed during combustion. and low carbon dioxide content, only a small amount of non-toxic flue gas is generated

4. Stable anti-acid and anti-alkali, non-toxic, does not produce any chemical effect. The product is naturally degradable and meets environmental protection requirements.

5. Disadvantages of hot air cotton: low strength, easy to deform.

About Production

Hot air cotton production process: blending-opening-cotton feeding-pre-carding-laying-main carding-hot-air drying-rolling-slitting

Mixed cotton: Proportion of various fibers, mixed fibers;

Initial opening: The mixed raw materials are transported to the pre-opening machine for preliminary loosening and opening;

Fine opening: The fiber raw material prepared by the pre-opening machine is finely opened here, so that the curled fibers are all stretched out for carding;

Collecting cotton: The air duct transports the finely opened raw materials to the cotton collecting machine, where the raw materials after opening are fluffy and soft;

Carding: The cotton collector sends the finely opened doll cotton to the carding machine, and the carding machine will card the fibers into a net shape;

Laying: The carded cotton is laid to the specified width and thickness according to the parameters;

Hot pressing: the cotton laid into a mesh is pressed to a specified thickness according to the specified parameters, and the fibers are initially shaped and entered into the oven, and the hot pressing is completed;

Shaping: The fibers after hot pressing are sterilized by high temperature according to the specified parameters and pressed into the specified thickness. (The two steps of hot pressing and setting are slightly different from the acupuncture process, pay attention to the distinction)

Trimming: according to the specified parameters, cut the environmentally friendly resin cotton into the specified width or sheet specifications, pack the goods, and complete the production.
